In daily life, the topic of food is always inseparable. Take food packaging as an example. The current requirements are not just simple packaging, but exquisite and generous, high-grade, and diversified. At the same time, different people have different requirements. Faced with such high requirements, manual packaging is impossible to meet. Therefore, many food processing enterprises now adopt fully automatic food packaging machines, which not only have high production efficiency, but also greatly reduce costs.
However, as long as it is a machine, there will be problems in many ways, and if it cannot be solved in time, it will seriously affect the production and operation of the enterprise. Today, I will talk about the reasons for the high temperature of the food packaging machine motor.
1. The load is too large. If the mechanical belt is too tight and the shaft is not flexible, it may cause long-term overload operation of the packaging machine motor. At this time, the mechanical maintenance personnel should loosen the transmission belt to disassemble and inspect the mechanical equipment, make the shaft flexible, and try to adjust the load to make the motor run under the rated load.
2. The working environment is harsh. If the motor of the food packaging machine is exposed to sunlight, the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C or the ventilation is not good, the temperature of the motor will rise too high. It can be covered with a simple pergola, or blown off with a hair dryer or fan to remove oil and dust in the air duct of the motor itself, thereby changing the cooling conditions.
3. The power supply voltage is too high or too low. The motor of the packaging machine operates in the range of -5 to +10% of the power supply voltage change and can maintain the rated capacity. If the power supply voltage exceeds 10% of the rated voltage, the magnetic core flux density will increase sharply, resulting in increased iron loss and motor overheating. The specific inspection method is to use an AC voltmeter to measure the bus voltage or the terminal voltage of the motor. If it is the grid voltage, it should be reflected to the power supply department; if the voltage drop is too large, a conductor with a larger cross-sectional area should be replaced, and the distance between the motor and the power supply should be shortened.
4. The power supply lacks phase. If the power source is out of phase, the motor of the packaging machine will run in a single phase, and the winding of the motor will quickly heat up and burn in a short period of time. Therefore, please check the fuse and switch status of the motor first, and then use a multimeter to measure the front line.
5. The rotor bar of the cage is broken, the welding is loose or the cross-sectional area of the rotor bar is too small, which will increase the loss and heat generation. The temperature of the rotor can be tested after the shutdown to find the cause of the failure and eliminate it.
6. The motor starts frequently or has too many forward and reverse rotations. The number of starts should be limited, and the overheating protection should be selected correctly or the motor suitable for the device should be replaced.
7. The three-phase voltage is seriously unbalanced. Check whether the stator winding is short-circuited between phases or turns, and the grounding of the stator winding.
8. The motor bearing of the packaging machine is poorly lubricated or stuck. Check whether the temperature of the bearing housing is higher than that of other parts to check whether the grease is too little or too dry.
9. The failure of the ventilation system is caused by the blockage of the air passage or the accumulation of dust on the radiator. Too thick grease will affect ventilation and heat dissipation.
10. The rotor and stator cores rub together and produce continuous metal impact sound, which may cause excessive local temperature rise. Cardiac examination to find out the cause of the malfunction and eliminate the malfunction.
11. Pick up the motor of the axial fan. If the fan rotates in the opposite direction, the motor will overheat.
12. Transmission failure (friction or paper jam) will cause the motor to overheat, and even cause the motor to jam, which leads to a sharp rise in the temperature of the motor and rapid winding of the winding.
13. The change of winding parameters will cause the winding motor to generate heat during trial operation. It can measure the three-phase no-load current of the motor. If it is greater than the rated value, it means that the number of turns is insufficient, and the number of turns should be increased.
